- 1980's and 1990's: Expansion of Amberger Spedition GmbH to one of Bavaria's leading logistics providers with focus on
– automobile logistics (customers: Audi, VW, BMW, Daimler-Benz)
– commercial logistics (customers: REWE, Schlecker, Hipp)
– Sports and life style (customers: Reebok, etc.)
Revenues of about 150 million DM
1990: 650 employees, 250 trucks, 100,000 m2 warehouse space
- 1982: Formation of the LogSped cooperation
- 1989: Fusion of the shipping companies Renz, Pfennig Viernheim, Koch, Düsseldorf und Amberger Spedition to LogSped GmbH
– 2,500 employees, 1,400 trucks, 300,000 m2 covered warehouse space
- 1993: Sale to AGIV of the shares in LogSped held by Amberger Spedition
- 1995:
Acquisition of the Trans-O-Flex GmbH and the Logo GmbH together with
investors – fusion of both companies to a company with turnover of 1.1
billion DM. 4,500 employees and a European package express network.
- 1998: Sale of the Trans-O-Flex Group to Deutsche Post.
- 1999: Purchase of the MDSG GmbH – a subsidiary of the German Ministry of Defense
- 2000: Restructuring of MDSG into Loxxess AG
- 2006: Acquisition of ABX Contract Logistik
